Hombrechtikon: New building plans for the Eichtal Park
Two companies of the Avobis Group are developing a new building project in Hombrechtikon with a good 20,000 sqm of space for commercial and production operations.

In the Eichtal-Park business park in Hombrechtikon (ZH), the Oaktec project is to be realized from 2024 onwards, a business location with a flexible range of space aimed at commercial and production companies. The project is being developed by Avobis and Rimaplan, two companies of the Avobis Group.
According to a statement from Avobis, the new building is being constructed on a 29,000-square-meter site in the west of Eichtal Park. Companies will find commercial and production space as well as office and administrative space on two accessible levels. Additional uses are possible in the entrance area, such as childcare or a cafeteria. According to Avobis, the first reservation or pre-lease agreements have already been signed for individual spaces. Important, high-tech companies" will settle here.
The project pays close attention to sustainability: The new building will be embedded in the terrain so that the excavation volume can be reduced, explains David Belart, who represents the owner as the client's representative. The roof surfaces are either greened or use solar energy, and the entire energy concept is based on renewable energies.
The building application is currently being prepared, and construction is scheduled to begin next year. For the parts of the Eichtal Park further to the east, where there are prominent existing buildings, an investment program is being examined in order to further develop the buildings in a sustainable manner, Avobis reports.
