The city of Lucerne has put the Staffelntäli development site out to tender for building rights. According to the city, a concept for a point construction with flexible apartment layouts is being sought. The residential units are to be aimed at various target groups, including the elderly.

The site is located on the Ruopigen plateau on the edge of the slope to Staffelntälipark and is 1,911 square meters in size. Subject to any adjustments to the reference interest rate, the annual ground rent will be CHF 80,000.

A feasibility study has shown that a nine-storey point building is best suited for the site, according to the press release from the city of Lucerne. Up to 40 apartments are to be built for non-profit housing construction, and at least half of the apartments are to be age-appropriate. (ah)
