The 125 m long and 19 m wide building offers a total of 5,000 square meters of space for training, healthcare and production. The building completes the corporate campus of the mechanical engineering company, a global market leader in the food processing sector. The emphasis was placed on sustainability with the reuse of concrete from the previous building and the use of low-CO2 cement. In addition, the supporting structure of the office section is made of wood, as Elvis Pidic, architect and Head of Corporate Real Estate Management at Bühler, explains.

The aim of the architecture is to support employees in learning and "recharging their batteries". The building is also intended to promote the health and creativity of employees: "Positive energy and knowledge are crucial resources and form the basis for well-being, performance and resilience," the company writes in a press release. Construction began in November 2021 and is part of the Bühler Innovation Campus. (aw)
