Reglopas AG, a manufacturer of temperature control devices, has completed its new company headquarters in St. Gallen. The new six-storey building at Spühlstrasse 6 in the Martinsbrugg district has a floor space of over 15,000 square meters and was overseen by Zima Projektentwicklung AG as part of a building owner partnership.

According to Zima, special attention was paid to ecological and economical building technology when constructing the new company headquarters with a floor area of around 2,500 square meters per storey. A geothermal probe combined with an air heat pump and a solar system on the green roof are being used. The new building has 25 charging stations for electric cars.

Many communal areas

In addition to the workstations, lounges and tea kitchens have also been set up to encourage interaction between employees. There is a large catering kitchen for in-house catering, a relaxation room and a fitness room with training equipment. There are checkroom lockers and showers as well as bicycle parking spaces with charging facilities for e-bikes. An automated small parts warehouse extends over three floors and enables efficient storage and fast supply of workstations.

Zima Projektentwicklung took over the search for a new location for Regloplas, the development and approval, the establishment of the project organization, through to the development and planning of the new building and its implementation. (ah)
