Baden: KSB puts second partner house into operation

Baden Cantonal Hospital has opened a new seven-storey building on its healthcare campus. The main tenant is ETH Zurich.

After one and a half years of construction, the Partnerhaus II on the health campus of Baden Cantonal Hospital (KSB) has been completed and put into operation. According to the hospital, the construction costs amounted to CHF 21 million.

The seven-storey building comprises 82 offices and 41 examination rooms with a gross floor area of 8,100 square meters. The main tenant is ETH Zurich, which occupies two floors. Other external users are the SRC Aargau-Solothurn Blood Donor Foundation, the Aargau Psychiatric Service and the Aargau Lung League.

The KSB operates a physiotherapy practice on the first floor on an area of around 1,000 square meters, and the building also houses various areas of the KSB, such as the internal medicine consultation and the outpatient clinic of the children's hospital. (ah)
