Aesch: Topping-out ceremony for UBS Vivo project
The Vivo development will create over 200 apartments as well as commercial and business premises on the northern edge of Aesch. The space should be ready for occupation in the third quarter of 2024.
Just over a year and a half after construction work began, the shell of the Vivo project in Aesch (BL) has been completed. The investor is Balintra AG, a real estate company of the UBS real estate fund Sima. The overall contractor is Halter AG.
228 rental apartments, 36 co-living apartments and 4,700 square meters of commercial and service space are being built on the 15,000 square meter site on the northern edge of the municipality.
The quarter is made up of four building units:
- The 40 meter high Vivo Tower The lower floors of the building near the highway exit will house commercial uses such as a coworking space and a café. The middle floors will house 36 long-stay apartments, and 80 rental apartments are planned for the top floors.
- In the south-western area of the site Vivo farmThe first floor will provide space for neighborhood-related uses and small businesses, while the three upper floors will house a total of 36 rental apartments.
- The other two buildings, Vivo comb and Vivo Qubeare purely residential buildings. Vivo Kamm will comprise 57 rental apartments and a common room, while Vivo Qube will have a further 55 rental apartments on six floors.
According to earlier information, the project has an investment volume of around CHF 150 million. (ah)
