The UBS Sima real estate fund is building a development in Geneva with 350 apartments and commercial space on the first floors. According to the fund, the building permit has now officially come into force and construction is due to start at the end of this year.

A project by the two architectural firms Magizan and CCHE in collaboration with Losinger Marazzi, which was the winner of an architectural competition, is being implemented. The development, with a total area of 36,000 square meters, is arranged around a tree-lined square that is accessible from several sides. Almost 4,000 square meters of commercial space are planned on the outside of the building. The project also includes an underground garage with 170 parking spaces.

UBS Sima expects the construction work to take around three years. Construction of the first stage is scheduled to be completed in January 2026. The final stage is scheduled for completion one year later in January 2027. (ah)
