Münchenstein: Losinger Marazzi completes healthcare campus
Building A", a new building in Spenglerpark in Münchenstein near Basel, has been completed. The complex, which is used by the public sector, has a total area of 32,000 square meters.

The official opening ceremony of the new Health Education Campus in Münchenstein (BL) took place at the beginning of September. With the Berufsfachschule Gesundheit Basel-Landschaft (BfG), the Bildungszentrum Gesundheit Basel-Stadt (BZG) and the OdA Gesundheit beider Basel expanded to include the courses offered by the Bern University of Applied Sciences (BFH), the complex combines basic vocational training, higher vocational training and job-related further training in the healthcare sector under one roof. As part of the "Spenglerpark" urban renewal project in Münchenstein (BL), Losinger Marazzi developed and realized Building A for the Credit Suisse Investment Foundation as part of the Spenglerpark development.
The completed building is part of an overall project consisting of a three-part complex. The 32,000 square meter space, spread over six floors and two buildings, will accommodate 1,500 pupils and 1,000 students as well as 1,000 course participants. Construction work on the Spenglerpark began in August 2021 and included the addition of two new storeys and the total renovation of the existing building in compliance with the Minergie-ECO exclusion criteria. The building is certified with the Minergie standard label. Commissioning of the building began four months before handover and the building was reportedly handed over to the owner on schedule at the end of June 2023. (aw)
