Avenirplus Investment Foundation buys in the canton of Berne
The new acquisition is a mixed-use property in Lyss that is let on a long-term lease.
The Avenirplus Investment Foundation has announced a significant acquisition for its real estate investment group: a turnkey property at Kirchenfeldstrasse 34 in Lyss (BE) has been purchased for CHF 10.3 million, the investment foundation has announced.
With the exception of four parking spaces, the entire property is already fully let. The main long-term tenant is Migrol, which secures around 50% of income for the next 20 years. Another smaller commercial space has been let for five years, which contributes to the diversification of rental income. The building also has eleven apartments (ten 2.5-room apartments and one 3.5-room apartment), which according to Avenirplus are let at rents above the regional average.
The property is heated with a geothermal probe heat pump heating system, and there are also two large-scale PV systems. The surplus electricity produced is sold to the tenants. (ah)
