The real estate fund owns the property Avenue de Chantegrive 9-11 in Prilly with 48 apartments. Adjacent to the development in an elevated location, the fund management has acquired an undeveloped plot of around 1,600 square meters, which has reportedly improved the development potential. The relevant options were explored as part of an overall performance competition.

The aim of the competition was a "seamless continuation of the existing properties while maximizing the rentable space with high urban and exterior quality". The winning project was a concept by Halter AG and Magizan Architekten. It takes up the building typology of the neighborhood and adds two new buildings to the existing structure. The staggered heights of the garden area allow for a communal outdoor space halfway up as a link between public and private as well as new and existing buildings. Five- and six-storey buildings are being built on the flanks.

Building application in summer 2024

The existing buildings, built in 1961, are to be renovated to make them more energy-efficient and extended. This will create a total of around 60 additional apartments. A daycare center and a common room will round off the offer. The building application is scheduled for summer 2024 and completion from 2025. (aw)
