Steiner AG believes its Luxburgerfeld project in Egnach (TG) is back on track. Initial plans for the large-scale project - the total area extends over 77,000 square meters - met with resistance from the local population. In particular, the density of the planned development and the additional traffic load were viewed critically. Now the height of the buildings and the number of apartments have been reduced, according to Steiner. As a result, the project now blends in much better with the rural surroundings on Lake Constance. There will be 350 residential units in a mixture of terraced, detached and multi-family houses, condominiums and rental apartments.

After the revised design plan was once again presented to all interested citizens of Egnach during the public consultation in the summer, the municipality plans to publish the design plan in December. The project is to be realized from 2025. (ah)
