Rotkreuz: Zug Estates finds replacement tenant for 4,500 sqm of office space
On the Suurstoffi site in Rotkreuz, the canton is stepping in as tenant for Utopia Music. Zug Estates has also concluded several rental agreements at the Metalli in Zug.
On January 1, the Canton of Zug will take over the Suurstoffi 6 property rented by Utopia Music AG with around 4,500 square meters for a fixed rental period of ten years. The space will be developed by summer 2025 so that the long and short-term high school can start operating at the beginning of the 2025/26 school year. Utopia Music signed a ten-year lease for 4,500 sqm of space in June 2022 (IB reported).
Zara space in Metalli now fully re-let
Zug Estates has also announced that the last 190 square meters of space from the conversion of the former Zara space in the Metalli shopping avenue in Zug has been leased to Moem Retail GmbH as of 1 February 2024. It will operate a store for menswear label PME Legend from the spring. A lease for a further 580 m² was signed with Futura Montessori Zug GmbH. It will operate a daycare center from mid-November.
New restaurant at the Park Hotel Zug and renaming of the hotel company
There is also news about the Park Hotel Zug: the first floor has been completely renovated over the past four months. The result is the Aigu Restaurant & Bar with a large terrace and a new winter garden. As part of this realignment, Hotelbusiness Zug AG was renamed Garden Park Zug AG. This includes the Park Hotel Zug, the Aigu Restaurant, the City Garden Hotel, the City Apartments and the Secret Garden Restaurant & Bar. (aw)
