SPGI Zurich has leased additional space for the owner in the "Konnex" office complex in Baden (AG). According to the real estate consultant, the French electrical engineering group Schneider Electric will occupy 362 square meters in the building. The sustainability concept of the office property was a decisive factor in the decision, writes SPGI. "Konnex" has LEED Gold and Minergie certification, is completely CO2-neutral thanks to a photovoltaic system and is connected to the district heating network. The lease brings Schneider closer to its own sustainability goals, it says. The company is moving into a space on the 3rd floor of the longitudinal building. The tenant fit-out will start at the beginning of 2024.

Following the total refurbishment, around 35,000 square meters of commercial space will be available in the Konnex. According to SPGI, over 50% of the space is currently let. The user mix currently consists of offices, serviced offices, conferencing, serviced apartments, an outpatient clinic, a school, a boxing club and much more. (aw)
