Davos: Hotel Flüela has reopened under the Hyatt flag
The traditional Hotel Flüela Davos has reopened after renovation under the brand The Unbound Collection by Hyatt. It is the third Hyatt hotel in Switzerland.
The US hotel chain Hyatt has completed the renovation of the traditional Hotel Flüela in the heart of Davos and opened the hotel under the Unbound Collection brand shortly before Christmas.
The luxury hotel has been in existence since 1868, making it one of the oldest hotels in the winter sports resort. Benno Geruschkat, Area Vice President of Hyatt, describes the hotel as a strategic location for the growth of Hyatt's luxury portfolio in Europe. Davos, the home of the renowned World Economic Forum, is a globally recognized and thriving business and lifestyle destination, says Geruschkat.
Following the renovation, the Hotel Flüela Davos comprises 51 rooms and suites, a 485 square meter conference area and a wellness area with saunas and indoor pool as well as several dining options. According to previous information Hyatt has signed a franchise agreement for the hotel with Davos Luxury Properties AG. (ah)
