UBS AST-KIS buys in Egerkingen
In the canton of Solothurn, a 6,000 sqm plot of land and a mixed-use property with the tenant Aldi were added to the portfolio of the UBS AST-KIS investment group.
UBS AST-KIS has acquired a property in Egerkingen in the canton of Solothurn with effect from mid-December 2023. The property, which was built in 2012 and is fully let, is located on a 6,000 sqm plot. The property has a usable area of 3,188 sqm with office, retail and restaurant space as well as storage and ancillary areas. The first floor houses the retail space of the main tenant, Aldi Suisse AG, which has a long-term lease. UBS AST-KIS already owns the adjoining commercial property to the east. Together, the investment group now has a consolidated plot size of around 17,000 square meters in the immediate vicinity of the A1/A2 freeway junction. "This offers enormous potential for future development projects," writes UBS in a press release. With an investment volume of around CHF 13.5 million, the gross purchase yield is 6.1%.
According to transaction advisor JLL, the seller was the insurance company Baloise. (aw)
