Biberist: Hiag lets 3,200 square meters on the Papieri site
In future, the ball sport of padel will be represented with a large indoor area at the Papieri-Areal in Biberist (SO).
Hiag has signed a long-term rental agreement with padel court operator Padelta AG for the Papieri site in Biberist. Eight courts for this ball sport will be created on a usable area of around 3,200 square meters. The new facility will complement the public leisure facilities alongside the P9 event hall and the "Athletgym" fitness studio.
Hiag is realizing the new sports use in a former production hall, which is also to be preserved in the long term. The hall will be structurally upgraded to meet the latest energy requirements. Following extensive construction work, the opening is reportedly planned for the first quarter of 2025. A further leisure use is planned for the remaining area of around 1,000 square meters. (aw)
