International Hospitality Services AG (IHS) is planning to build 17 additional hotel apartments at the Hard Rock Hotel Davos. The furnished apartments will be offered in combination with hotel services. The additional units are to be created by replacing the oldest building complex on the site of the Davos Hard Rock Hotel. According to IHS, a corresponding planning application has been submitted. Sales of the residences could start in the next few weeks and involve an investment volume of around CHF 20 million.

After the hotel opened, IHS had already put 15 apartments up for sale. "The majority of these apartments have already been sold," it says. "There is a lot of interest in serviced apartments," says hotel director Polina Lazarou. The serviced apartments do not fall under the Lex Koller. (aw)
