Baden: 1,000 square meters of catering space let in the "Konnex"
SPGI has brokered a lease agreement with the SV Group for the first floor of the property.
The gastronomy and hotel company SV Group will operate a restaurant with 300 seats and a terrace on the first floor of the "Konnex" in Baden on 1,000 square meters. SV also manages the gastronomic offer of the conferencing area and offers event catering in the property. "The 'city-within-a-city' concept of Konnex Baden is increasingly taking shape," writes the consulting firm SPGI Zurich, which is responsible for marketing and letting Konnex, in a press release. A total of 35,000 square meters of commercial space will be available in the property following the complete refurbishment in stages.
More than 50% of the space in "Konnex" has already been let. The user mix currently includes restaurants, offices, serviced offices, conferencing, serviced apartments, an outpatient clinic, a school and a boxing club. Space of up to approx. 10,000 sqm is currently available in the extended basic development, with a further 5,000 sqm to be added from mid-2025.
The SV Group is one of the largest food service providers and employs around 4,800 people in Switzerland. (aw)
