Baden: Pension fund buys part of the "Müllerbräu" site
Futura Vorsorge is the new owner of the first construction site of the centrally located Baden neighborhood project.

The Futura Vorsorge pension fund from Lupfig (AG) has acquired construction site A of the redesigned "Müllerbräu" site in Baden (AG). The purchase agreement for the pension fund's "most significant real estate purchase" to date was signed on April 23, according to a press release. Three apartment buildings with 60 rental apartments and five commercial spaces on the first floor will be built on the site. The Müller brewery's beer garden is also located on the sold property.
The developer of the site in a central location in Baden is the family-owned company Brauerei H. Müller AG. The rental apartments are expected to be advertised for rent from summer/autumn 2026 and should be ready for occupancy from summer 2027.
According to its own information, Futura Vorsorge has 32 properties with around 1,000 apartments in German-speaking Switzerland, primarily in the canton of Aargau, and an additional 4% in commercial properties. In 2014, the joint foundation began to build up a team of management experts. Since then, the assets have grown from CHF 1 billion to CHF 4.4 billion. (aw)
