Feuerthalen: Migros and Denner rent in new development
A development with apartments and 900 square meters of retail space is being built in the municipality in the canton of Zurich.
Migros Ostschweiz is planning to build a supermarket on Hauptstrasse in Langwiesen, a village in the municipality of Feuerthalen (ZH). Denner is also moving into the new development with a branch. The developer is Lawisa AG, which is also building 16 apartments on the upper floors, according to local media. The Migros store on the first floor of the building will cover 470 square meters and the Denner store 430 square meters. The "Im Dorf West" development is located on Hauptstrasse. The property has 45 parking spaces at ground level and a further ten in the underground garage.
Lawisa AG began demolishing the existing buildings in spring 2024, with shell construction scheduled to begin in fall 2024. Migros Ostschweiz will submit its application for the interior fit-out in late fall 2024. If the approval process and construction work go according to plan, Denner and Migros will open their stores in the first quarter of 2026. (aw)
