St. Gallen: Baloise sells "Neumarkt 4
Baloise Insurance has sold its property at Kornhausstrasse 26 in St. Gallen. This was announced by transaction advisor JLL.
JLL has sold the office and retail property "Neumarkt 4" in St. Gallen as exclusive sell-side advisor to Baloise Insurance Ltd. The new owner is reportedly the Swisscanto Investment Foundation. The property is one of five buildings in the overall Neumarkt 1-5 complex, which, in addition to office space, also includes a shopping center with a Migros supermarket. The property was completed in 2014 as part of a refurbishment by Allreal as the developer.
Building section 4 with the address Kornhausstrasse 26 comprises six office floors. Baloise uses the building for its St. Gallen/Appenzell branch. Only recently, Baloise Insurance disposed of a building in Lugano that it also partly used itself (IB reported). (aw)
