Geneva: SV Group opens two new hotels
A building with 84 serviced apartments is opening in a lively location in Geneva, and a further 99 studios are being added for the SV Group in a quiet neighborhood.
The SV Group announces its strategic entry into the Geneva hotel market with two complementary new openings in the extended-stay segment.
One of these is the Stay Kooook Geneva City on the lively Rue de la Servette, which offers 84 fully equipped serviced apartments (studios and family apartments) on 2,400 square meters, as well as "The Flat", an area with a roof terrace intended for shared use by residents.
Secondly, the Residence Inn Geneva City Nations was opened in the quiet Petit Saconnex district. Here, 99 studios spread over 7 floors combine the comfort of a well-equipped private apartment with the service of a full-service hotel.
"SV's own Stay KooooK concept and the established Residence Inn by Marriott address the growing demand for flexible living solutions in the cosmopolitan Rhone city," comments Marco Meier, Managing Director of SV Hotel, on his company's move into western Switzerland. "Stay Kooook, our own brand, appeals to younger guests in particular with its community-oriented concept and attractive prices. Residence Inn by Marriott, on the other hand, caters to the needs of discerning long-term guests with its comprehensive range of services and larger suites."
With the latest expansion into French-speaking Switzerland, the SV Group's portfolio now comprises a total of 23 hotels, 11 of which are in Switzerland. (bw)
