Rothrist: Logistics company buys industrial site
An eight-hectare site in Aargau was sold by JLL to an owner-occupier on behalf of an industrial company.
The Austrian-German industrial company Benteler has sold its premises in Rothrist (AG). The new owner is the logistics company Schöni Transporte AG. According to JLL Switzerland, which acted as exclusive sales advisor for the transaction, the industrial site measures 82,000 square meters. Schöni will manage the site itself as an owner-occupier.
The Benteler Group, which is active in the steel and automotive supplier sector, announced the closure of the Rothrist site last spring. The company, which is based in Salzburg and Paderborn, justified the measure with the tense situation on the market for welded tube products. (aw)
