Lucerne: Building permit for the "Panorama Eggen" project
Allreal is realizing 73 condominiums based on designs by the Caruso St John architectural firm.
Allreal has received planning permission for the "Panorama Eggen" development project in the city of Lucerne. According to a press release, construction work will start at the beginning of next year and is scheduled to last until 2027.
Allreal is developing and building a residential estate with 73 condominiums in Lucerne's Büttenen district. The residential units will have 2.5 to 5.5 rooms and the development will be built to the Minergie-P-Eco standard. The building's primary energy source will be geothermal probes.
Plans from the year 2019
Following the acquisition of the 8,400 m² site, Allreal invited tenders for a study contract with six architectural firms in 2019. The jury recommended the project by Caruso St John Architects for further development. The concept takes into account the characteristic surrounding buildings from the 1960s and 1970s and attempts to leave sufficient space for the Eggenhof as an independent ensemble. The five-storey building will have a red wooden façade. The top floors have views of the mountains with the Rigi and Pilatus. (aw)
