Davos: Resort with 140 apartments before construction begins
Six new buildings with serviced apartments and condominiums are to be built on the site of the Hotel Derby. The total contractor HRS is involved in the property development company.
A new resort is to be built in the center of Davos. The "Elevation" project comprises 120 serviced 2.5 and 3.5-room apartments, which will be offered for sale in conjunction with a hotel service. In addition, 22 second homes with 3.5 and 4.5 rooms are being built as condominiums under the project name "Parkview". A total of six new building complexes are planned, each with one underground and six above-ground storeys, as well as a two-storey parking garage with 253 parking spaces. A hotel lobby, various retail areas and a restaurant, as well as areas for medical fitness and a spa, will face the promenade. The developer is Davos Resort SA, in which HRS is involved as total contractor.
The area was previously occupied by the Hotel Derby. This is currently being demolished and will no longer be used during the winter season. Construction work is set to begin in spring 2025 with the excavation work. (aw)
