According to HRS, another sub-project has been completed at the Innovation Park Zurich. After Hall 3, Hall 2 has also been handed over to ETH Zurich, according to the developer. The former flight hangar will be used as a laboratory and workshop for research and development in future. The construction time was 14 months, including the remediation of contaminated sites. The multifunctional timber construction is designed for different uses. In a second phase, the renovation of the building shell with annex buildings is planned. HRS is responsible for the site development and the construction of the buildings. The client is IPZ Property AG.

The Zurich Innovation Park at Dübendorf Airfield is being built on an area of around 55 hectares. The research campus is intended for companies from Switzerland and abroad as well as Swiss research institutions. When fully developed, over 14,000 new jobs will be created over the next few decades.
