Colliers Switzerland has leased around 1,100 square meters of space at Bahnhofstrasse 74 to the Liechtensteinische Landesbank (LLB). The new single tenant occupies the 2nd to 5th floors of the tradition-steeped property; the new office space is therefore fully let.

The property will be completely refurbished before the new tenant moves in. A partial opening of the façade will make the upper floors usable for office space. The basement, ground floor and first floor of the building will continue to serve as retail space. The rooftop restaurant will also be retained.

"The conversion of department stores into mixed retail and office properties is a long-term trend, as can be seen in the examples of Manor and Jelmoli," comments Gabriela Brandenberg, Head Office and Retail at Colliers Switzerland, on the transaction. (aw)
