Balsthal: Raiffeisen fund buys 39 apartments

The fund acquired a complex in the canton of Solothurn for a good CHF 20 million.

The Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fund has acquired the Guntenfluhweg 24-34 residential complex in Balsthal (SO). The purchase agreement was signed on February 26, according to a press release. The investment volume amounts to around CHF 21.2 million.

The development comprises six buildings with a total of 39 apartments. These have 2.5, 3.5, 4.5 and 5.5 rooms, a residential studio and a commercial unit as well as 47 parking spaces and 11 outdoor parking spaces.
The property was built in 2015 and, according to the fund management company Verit Investment Management, meets the fund's sustainability requirements thanks to its insulated façade, insulated flat roof and triple-glazed windows. It is planned to replace the gas heating with a sustainable system in the medium term.

The development is almost fully let and is in a very well-kept condition, the report continues. According to IB research, the complex was built under the name "Neumattpark" by Varioserv AG. (aw)
