Investor found for resort in Oberried
The long-planned resort in Oberried on Lake Brienz could soon be realized. According to a report in the "Berner Zeitung", an investor has now been found in De Raekt, a single family office based in Luxembourg.

The first stage will require investments of CHF 45 million, of which De Raekt intends to take over two-thirds, the newspaper writes. The remaining third will be shared by two other companies whose names are not known. The family office De Raekt also wants to participate in the second and third stages, according to the "Berner Zeitung".
In the first construction phase, eight houses with a total of 71 apartments, a swimming pool, reception, store, restaurant and parking garage are to be built.28 of the 71 apartments in the first stage have already been sold and a further 16 reserved, according to the developer. Interested Swiss buyers are being looked after by Engel & Völkers. When completed, the resort is to comprise 155 residential units in 26 houses. The construction volume is estimated at CHF 100 million.
Construction of the first stage is scheduled to start in October, and the first apartments could then be ready for occupancy at the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017. (ah)
