Aargau: Start of construction for residential development in Döttingen

Ground has been broken for the new "Riedholzblick" residential development in Döttingen. The developers SWICA Krankenversicherung and CPV/CAP Pensionskasse Coop as well as Priora AG are building a total of 146 residential units in eight structures.

The Riedholzblick site on the outskirts of Döttingen covers an area of 22,072 square meters. The residential units are divided into 119 rental apartments (half owned by SWICA and half by CPV/CAP Pensionskasse Coop) and 27 condominiums (owned by Priora AG). In addition, there are three underground parking garages with a total of 220 spaces.

On the north side along the Surbtalstrasse, a row-like longitudinal development (2-unit) is planned because of the noise immission. The structure marks the entrance to the village of Döttingen and forms the focal point of the development along the main road. The remaining seven buildings are distributed as point buildings in the area.

The 146 residential units are divided into 2.5-, 3.5-, 4.5- and 5.5-room apartments, including eleven attic apartments. The first apartments are scheduled to be ready for occupancy from spring 2017. (ah)
