SIG site: "Grünerbaum" project to get underway in 2016
Plans for the redevelopment of the 120,000 square meter SIG site in Neuhausen am Rheinfall are becoming more concrete. As the first sub-project, the striking, vacant ensemble of buildings between Industrieplatz and Badstrasse, consisting of the "Hochbau", "Grünerbaum" and "Weinberg" buildings, will be converted.

According to current plans by SIG Gemeinnützige Stiftung, 52 loft apartments will be created on the upper floors of the building complex. In addition, three studios will be realized, which can be booked, for example, by business travelers as an alternative to a hotel. The specific use of the first floor is still being planned - but it is already clear that at least one restaurant will move in.
The building application will be submitted at the beginning of 2016. Construction is scheduled to start in the second half of 2016, so that the Grünerbaum project is expected to be completed by the end of 2017. (ah)
