The apartment building - it is being built within walking distance of the town center and train station - is planned as a large, angled building with three floors and attic in the Minergie standard with partial ventilation. The apartment mix ranges from studios to 2.5- and 3.5-room apartments to apartments with 4.5 rooms. First occupancy is scheduled for 2019. The investment volume is around CHF 15.5 million.

Oberburg, a municipality in the Emmental with just under 3,000 inhabitants, borders the town of Burgdorf to the north. According to Raiffeisen, the municipality has a low vacancy rate and only few building land reserves.

The Raiffeisen Futura Immo Fund invests in sustainable real estate throughout Switzerland. The investment focus is on the distribution of 60 percent residential use and a maximum of 40 percent commercial use. (ah)
