Steiner launches investment foundation
The construction and real estate company Steiner AG has established the Steiner Investment Foundation, an asset management company for Swiss pension funds.
The Steiner Investment Foundation is based in Zurich and was entered in the commercial register on September 30, 2016. The foundation intends to launch investment groups in the area of new residential construction exclusively for Swiss employee pension funds. According to Steiner AG, the first Swiss Development Residential investment group with Swiss residential real estate projects from Steiner's project portfolio will be offered soon.
Ajay Sirohi was appointed to the Founding Foundation Board as Chairman of the Foundation Board, Reto Niedermann as Vice Chairman of the Foundation Board, and Urs Rüdin as a member of the Foundation Board. The Investment Committee is composed of Michael Schiltknecht as Chairman, Dr. Christoph Zaborowski as Vice-Chairman and Prof. Dr. Markus Schmidiger as a member. The Executive Board consists of Ralf Labrenz as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Hannes Leu as Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO). (ah)
