Andermatt: Topping-out ceremony for hotel and apartment buildings
The Andermatt Swiss Alps vacation resort is progressing step by step. On November 23, 2016, the topping-out ceremonies of the second hotel, the Gotthard Residences, and the two apartment buildings "Wolf" and "Edelweiss" were celebrated.
The operator of the hotel is Radisson Blu. In addition to around 180 rooms and congress facilities, there will also be a public indoor swimming pool with a wellness and fitness area. The Gotthard Residences, which are connected to the hotel by a passage, offer around 100 "hotel serviced apartments". They are offered in a wide range from studios with 44.5 square meters to 4.5-room apartments of over 133 square meters. The selling price of the apartments starts at CHF 450,000.
Developed in a joint venture with the Schmid Group of Central Switzerland, the "Wolf" and "Edelweiss" apartment houses comprise 40 vacation apartments. Both houses offer a mix of apartments and maisonettes on two floors and are sold from CHF 395,000.
Once completed, the hotel, the Gotthard Residences and the total of seven apartment buildings will form an ensemble with its own village square, stores and restaurants.
"The Radisson Blu Hotel, the Gotthard Residences and the apartment buildings form the gateway to the Andermatt Swiss Alps Resort. Now you can see and feel how the project is becoming a reality," says Samih Sawiris, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Andermatt Swiss Alps AG. (ah)
