Steiner AG: Start of construction for Weidsicht residential project

The official groundbreaking ceremony for the Weidsicht residential development was held in Pfäffikon (ZH) on October 19, 2017. Construction had already started in mid-September.

The project, developed by the executing total contractor Steiner AG, comprises six apartment buildings with a total of 38 condominiums in the upscale segment. Construction work is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2019.

Before the start of construction, more than 80 percent of all apartments (2 ½ to 5 ½ rooms) had already been sold, Steiner says. "Like cubic village villas", the six apartment buildings are embedded in the topography of the Zurich Oberland with a slight slope.

In the future, the Weidsicht project will also offer an underground parking garage with 61 parking spaces, which will be directly accessible to the disabled for all houses. Lake Pfäffikon and the Pfäffikon train station are a good ten minutes' walk away from the new Weidsicht residential development.

As reported in May 2017, the project development had been acquired by the "Swiss Development Residential" investment group of the Steiner Investment Foundation.
