Swifthome: New online platform for real estate sales
French-speaking Swiss real estate expert Sébastien Page has launched Swifthome, a new online platform for the valuation and sale of residential real estate.

Through Swifthome, users will be able to sell their residential property within a few days and collect the sale amount immediately, the company writes in a statement.
In a first step, the seller enters information about his residential property in an online form on the Swifthome website, such as the area, number of rooms and year of construction. On this basis, a preliminary estimate is sent to him.
If the seller confirms his interest, a real estate expert from the online platform carries out a full analysis of the property on site. A binding offer is then made to the seller; the seller has seven days to accept it. Subsequently, an appointment is made with the notary to complete the transaction. The seller can choose between a direct sale and a forward sale: In a direct sale, he receives the full amount for his property immediately. In the case of a forward sale, a deposit is transferred to him and he can continue to live in the property for up to 18 months after signing.
Swifthome is intended to serve the needs of a significant portion of sellers, the company said. In case of a departure abroad, financial needs related to the purchase of a new property or simply in the urgency of having to realize a quick sale of the apartment or house, users would be able to sell their property quickly without a lengthy sales process.
