Immofonds suburban buys
Following its capital increase, Immofonds suburban expanded its portfolio. Residential properties were acquired in Bellinzona and Schwyz.
Immofonds suburban has completed two acquisitions and is expanding into Ticino: The fund has acquired the residential property Via Franco Zorzi 25/25A in Bellinzona. The seven-story building comprises 35 apartments (1.5 to 3.5 rooms) and a small retail area. It was built in the 1980s and will be completely renovated between 2018 and 2020.
The second purchase is the Sternenmatt residential property in the Schwyz district of Seewen. It is located within walking distance of Schwyz train station and comprises five buildings built between 1987 and 1997. There are a total of 25 apartments (3.5 to 5.5 rooms) - depending on the year of construction of the individual buildings, the fit-out standards differ, according to the fund management.
With these two acquisitions, the fund's portfolio now comprises seven properties with a market value of CHF 80.9 million. The annual target rental income amounts to CHF 3.1 million. (ah)
