New hotel, commercial and logistics complex in Meyrin
Construction group Implenia is acting as general contractor on behalf of client Compagnie des Parcs to build a new hotel and commercial superstructure including a logistics hall in the Geneva municipality of Meyrin. A building complex with 30,000 sqm of floor space is to be constructed at Route de la Bergère 1A opposite the Richemont site and the Zimeysa train station, which is currently being renovated and extended.
The project, designed by De Giuli & Portier Architectes SA, comprises a premium three-star hotel, plus commercial space and an underground parking garage with around 300 spaces. The energy-efficient building, which complies with the Minergie standard, is scheduled to be handed over in 2018 after an expected construction period of 26 months.
