The property was developed and built by the Dutch Ten Brinke Group and financed by BayernLB. McCafferty will take over the future asset management for GoldTree.

The Werdener Strasse retail park, newly built in 2010, is designed as a two-story building with a parking deck on the 1st floor. Along Erkrather Strasse, the building has three stories. A listed old building is integrated in this area. The more than 20,000 sqm of retail space in the property are almost fully let on a long-term basis to the anchor tenants Roller, Saturn and Lidl as well as Sparkasse Düsseldorf, Kamps and Merkur.

GoldTree Group invests primarily in commercial real estate in Germany and Switzerland. After various investments in office space, the B8 Center is the first transaction in the retail segment, the company says. Further purchases are planned over the next twelve months, it adds. (ah)
