Lucerne: New tenants for Emmen Center
The fashion chain ZARA will open its first store in the greater Lucerne area in the Emmen Center in fall 2016.
The contracts were signed a few days ago. ZARA rents around 2,000 sqm of sales space, and will offer fashion for women, men and children in the future.
A few days ago, the Swedish fashion chain H&M also opened its new flagship store in Emmen Center. The area was enlarged by more than 600 sqm and the offer was extended by the "H&M Home" section.
With over 80 stores and a sales area of more than 30,000 sqm, the Emmen Center is currently still considered the largest shopping center in central Switzerland. However, the Mall of Switzerland is being built nearby, which will comprise around 46,000 sqm of retail space and 150 stores as well as other leisure, gastronomy and service areas when it opens in 2017.
