A total of 80 customers are to be accommodated in the restaurant on Waldstätterstrasse in Lucerne's Neustadt district. In addition to the café operation, customers will be able to watch the employees baking - just like in a show bakery. "This will allow us to stand out from local bakeries," Pascal Remmert, managing director of Dr. Oetker Switzerland, tells the New Lucerne Newspaperwhich had first reported on the new opening.

A mid-six-figure sum will be invested, and around twelve employees will work in the café in the future. The offer will consist mainly of cakes and pies, but also bread. According to reports, no further cafés are planned at present. (ah)
