Basel: FREITAG opens store
On November 18, the Zurich-based bag manufacturer FREITAG will open its twelfth store at Kaffeehaus Mitte in Basel. A special feature is the freely available writing and working space, which is intended to remove the boundary between store and café.
The store in Grünpfahlgasse covers 85 square meters, the concept was developed in collaboration with spillmann echsle architekten. The intention is to incorporate the "community and collaboration idea" and therefore workstations from the factory in Zurich-Oerlikon have been brought into the store, FREITAG informs. The seats are to be freely available to all visitors.
FREITAG operates the majority of its own stores in Switzerland, with three more in Germany and Austria. The company also operates a total of four stores in the Asian metropolises of Tokyo, Bangkok and Taipei. (ah)
