Mall of Switzerland: Center management has been decided
Jan Wengeler from Berlin and Ronnie Hürlimann from Central Switzerland will jointly manage the Mall of Switzerland. The two have been appointed center management.

Jan Wengeler and Ronnie Hürlimann will manage the Mall of Switzerland. Wengeler is the designated Head of Center Management at CBRE Switzerland. He worked for many years as a center manager in various shopping malls and has been responsible for the development of shopping centers at CBRE Switzerland since 2016. At the Mall of Switzerland, CBRE is responsible for center management.
With Ronnie Hürlimann, he has a well-known face in the region at his side. The marketing and media expert, who grew up in Lucerne and is based in Nidwalden, held various management positions in the advertising market of AZ-Medien and was Marketing and Sales Manager as well as Deputy Managing Director at Tele1 television in Central Switzerland from 2010 to 2016. Hürlimann also became known as the long-standing editor of the leisure magazine Insider. "In addition to my experience in marketing, I bring with me my numerous contacts in business, politics and administration," says Hürlimann, who feels well equipped for the new task.
According to those responsible for the Mall of Switzerland, around 1,100 jobs with different job profiles will be created in the shopping and leisure areas - from logistics help to service staff and building technicians to store managers.
The mall is scheduled to open in September this year. It will include more than 150 stores and eateries and numerous leisure facilities, such as Switzerland's largest IMAX cinema screen and the first standing indoor surf wave in Switzerland.
