Zurich: Haworth and Cappellini open joint showroom
On June 29, the two international furniture manufacturers Haworth and Cappellini will open a showroom in Zurich.
The Haworth and Cappellini showroom is located at Thurgauerstrasse 40 and was designed by architect Patricia Urquiola.
Both brands want to present products for modern working environments there that "blur the boundaries between living and business spaces," according to a media release.
Cappellini was founded in 1946. Well-known designers such as Alessandro Mendini and Jasper Morrison work for the Italian company.many products from Cappellini are considered classics of furniture design.
Haworth is a US furniture manufacturer specializing in office equipment. Founded in 1948, the company is a privately held family business that operates in 120 countries worldwide through a network of 650 dealers and with more than 6,500 employees. Net sales in 2016 were more than two billion US dollars.
