Dietikon: HIAG and MediaMarkt extend lease agreement
HIAG and MediaMarkt have agreed on a further ten-year rental period for the existing rental space of around 5,500 sqm in Dietikon (ZH).
MediaMarkt has already been a tenant on the HIAG site since 1994, when it opened its first location in Switzerland in Dietikon. In connection with the extension of the lease, the sales areas are to be modernized.
HIAG sees the electronics retailer's move as a "clear commitment" to the site in the highly competitive retail sector. The site in Dietikon, which has a total area of more than 38,000 square meters, is located directly on the A1 and can be reached via a freeway connection; it is situated in the Silbern industrial area. In addition to MediaMarkt, the tenants of the retail space also include Fressnapf, LIPO, Otto's and Reno.
