Only Fitness: Migros launches new chain
With the new brand Only Fitness, Migros Aare is launching its own fitness chain together with other cooperatives. The first store is to be launched at the end of September.
The first Only Fitness will open its doors on September 29, 2017, at Parkterrasse 14 near the main train station in Bern. In central Switzerland, in Emmenbrücke, another center will be added in spring 2018. Further locations in the rest of Switzerland are being planned.
According to Migros, the new fitness concept aims to offer training services at an "extremely attractive price/performance ratio". The annual subscription costs CHF 499; for 24 months, the subscription costs CHF 399 per year.
"We want as many people as possible to have easy access to attractive fitness training," says Helko Roth, Head of Business Development in the Leisure Division of Migros Aare. Target groups include ambitious athletes as well as beginners and students.
