The new Kjus store will occupy the front part of the space in the building at Bahnhofstrasse 62. In the rear part facing Rennweg, the furniture store Einzigart will move in. The two leases will end on March 31, 2018, according to a media spokesperson for real estate owner Swiss Life told the New Zurich Newspaper said. Subsequently, the good 2,200 sqm would be given to other tenants for a longer period.

Swiss Life acquired the former Franz-Carl-Weber-Haus from the Gaydoul Group in May 2016. The toy store had moved to Bahnhofplatz after its lease expired at the beginning of 2017 and opened a 1,645-square-foot store in the corner building facing Löwenstrasse.

The collection of the label Kjus was first launched in 2000 by Norwegian ski racer and Olympic champion Lasse Kjus and Swiss entrepreneur Didi Serena. The brand primarily offers ski and golf apparel. To date, the Swiss furniture and design store Einzigart has its own stores at Josefstrasse 36 and Seefeldstrasse 96 in Zurich, as well as at Pelzgasse 9 in Aarau.
