The recently published "Global Cities Retail Guide" by Cushman & Wakefield presents over 150 retail locations at a glance and offers retailers detailed insights into the most important markets and shopping streets worldwide. The guide highlights the retail market in around 50 countries, divided into the North/South America, Asia-Pacific and EMEA economic regions. As an alliance partner of Cushman & Wakefield, SPG Intercity Zurich compiled the data for Switzerland. In addition to general facts about the Swiss market, the guide provides detailed information about Zurich and Geneva.

In Switzerland, there is still strong demand for retail space in the high-street area. As the researchers note, international luxury retailers are gradually displacing smaller, local businesses in the cities mentioned. The continuing high purchasing power in Switzerland makes the country a very attractive location for retailers, according to the experts at SPG Intercity.
