Bern: New tenant at Theaterplatz 13
On Theaterplatz in Bern, where the branch of the luxury goods group Hermès was previously rented, the bedding manufacturer Elite has opened a store.
Hermès gave up its Theaterplatz branch at the end of April this year. The property belongs to the city of Bern, which has found the French-Swiss company Elite as a new tenant. Elite has now recently opened a sales outlet with a showroom for box spring beds, mattresses and other sleeping and furnishing accessories.
The company is currently on an expansion course: Since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, it has opened five new locations of the "Elite Gallery" concept - in addition to Bern, also in Geneva, Crans-Montana, St. Moritz and Basel. There are now 13 stores across Switzerland, plus two abroad. (ah)
