According to a building application submitted by Embassy Jewel AG, the Cartier boutique in the west wing of the Schweizerhof will take over the space occupied by Max Chocolatier. The plan is to merge the existing part of Cartier with the Max Chocolatier sales shop over both floors to form one large Cartier store.

According to the project description, there will be separate sales rooms on the ground floor and the upper floor, as well as ancillary rooms such as a security room, goods lift and back office areas. The two sales levels will be connected by a central, representative staircase. In total, the premises will comprise 357 sqm of sales space.

The owner of the property is Hauser & Co Parking and Immobilien Schweizerhof. The construction costs are stated at CHF 2.6 million. Construction is scheduled to start in September this year, with completion planned for February 2022. (ah)
